UQ Junior Bullsharks
The Bullsharks are UQ Juniors teams from U6s to U12s.
The Bullsharks compete in the BJRU competition, playing a modified version of rugby to maximise development and enjoyment.
We are focused on participation, skill development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game. The Bullsharks provide a structured pathway for young players to grow both on and off the field. From the introduction of fundamental rugby skills in the U6s to the more competitive tackle formats from U8s.
Registration includes a uniform – training shirt, rugby shorts and socks.

2025 Season Kick-Off Update β Important Dates! π
Following recent consultation with clubs, BJRU has made a change to the season start for U6βU9 teams due to the ANZAC Day long weekend. These teams will now kick off their season on Saturday 3 May.

U10s and older will still start as planned on Sunday 27 April.
Due to ANZAC Day falling on a Friday, weβll hold a one-off Wednesday training session on 23 April for all teams. Please note: no bar or BBQ that night, but uniforms will be available for collection.
π Our first Friday night training will be on 2 May, including the season debut of Puppies and Girls Touch 7s! Stay tuned for more info about that program.
